Manager Merrygoround

Ex-Celt Paul Lambert and ex-Rangers manager Dick Advocaat have been on the move. Lambert has left Colchester United to become manager of Norwich City. This means that he leaves the team at the top of the English Second Division (9 points after three matches) to join the team who are third bottom (0ne point after 3 matches). Bryan Gunn was sacked after Norwich City were beaten 7-1 by Lambert's Colchester on day one of the season.
Dick Advocaat has been sacked by Zenit St Petersburg in Russia. Advocaat had agreed to take the post as manager of Belgium but see out the rest of the season in Russia. However, since his decision to leave Zenit, their results have been poor including a 2-0 loss to Tom Tomsk at the weekend. Consequently, he has left the club sooner than first intended. Advocaat managed Zenit to their Uefa Cup Final victory against Rangers in Manchester in 2008 . link to BBC report
